Set in the heart of the Green Mountains at the peak of fall foliage, the Weston Antiques Show has been attracting collectors, dealers, residents, and tourists alike since 1959. Located in the Weston Playhouse on the Village Green, the 52nd annual show is October 1 & 2, 2010 with the preview on the evening of September 30. Thirty-five renowned dealers from across the U.S. transform this distinctive venue into three floors of room settings of antiques.

Attendees find quality and variety here:  American and English furniture prior to 1900, accessories to 1900, Oriental rugs to 1920, antique and estate jewelry, and paintings and prints to 1935.  All merchandise is guaranteed by the exhibitors to be as represented.

It's hard to know what's more beautiful - the antiques or the surroundings"

- Country Home

Oriental rugs hang from auditorium walls and drape over theatre seats, spilling out to the stone walls overlooking the West River. Country and formal furniture, decorative arts, Americana, accessories, and folk art are in the street level stage, lobby, and lounge as well as the lower and upper levels.

Silver, ceramics, tea caddies, and jewelry are showcased in their own rooms. Walls on all three floors are adorned with samplers, paintings, and textiles.  Garden ornaments on the porches are set amid the splendor of autumn colors.

The Weston Antiques Show is the anchor for Vermont Antiques Week with 5 shows and 220 dealers within 20 miles.  The first show to open, Weston's Gala Preview is Thursday 5 - 7:30pm, September 29 and the Show is Friday and Saturday 10am - 5pm both days, September 30 & October 1, 2011.
